## Google Calendar Embed

Connect the Google Calendar Embed

### Overview

You can embed your Google Calendar directly into Assembly, making it easy for clients to view your shared calendar.

### App Setup

01. Go to _App Library_, and click _\+ Add an app_ in the top right corner.

02. Select _Google Calendar_ in the _Client-facing_ section.

03. After clicking on the app, click on _Install_ in the top-right.

04. Give the app a name and icon, and configure whether all clients can see it or only a subset.

05. We recommend setting this up as an **automatic** App if you want your file to be visible to all clients. If you only want this App to be visible to one or more specific clients, set this as a **manual** App.

06. Leave the app set to as _Show as embed_ so that the client isn't directed outside of the portal.

07. Open your Google Calendar in your browser.

08. Click the gear icon in the top-right and select _Settings_.

09. Click the name of the calendar you want to embed from the sidebar under _Settings for my calendars_. This will open the calendar settings.

10. Find the _Access permissions for events_ section on the page.

11. Check the box next to _Make available to public_, and choose the permissions you would like from the dropdown. We recommend using the _See all event details_ option.

12. Next, scroll down to the _Integrate calendar_ section and find the _Embed code_. Copy the iframe code.

13. You can click the _Customize_ button if you want to customize the display of the calendar (optional).

14. Go back to the _App Library_ page and paste the copied iframe code into the content box.

15. Click _Add_ to be redirected to the app.
