## Notion Embed

Connect the Notion Partner App

### Overview

Assembly makes it easy to add Notion pages as welcome pages for your clients to help with onboarding and an overview of how to use the portal.

### App Setup

1. Create your page in Notion, click _Share_ at the top of your Notion page, select the _Publish_ tab, and click _Publish._  
2. Click _Embed this page_ and copy the embed code.  
3. Go to App Library in Assembly Dashboard and click _+ Add an app_ in the upper-right corner.  
4. Select _Notion._ After clicking on the app, click on _Install_ in the top-right.  
5. Name your app, choose an icon, and choose the setup type. We recommend setting this up as an **automatic** App so that your Notion page will be visible to all clients. If you only want this App to be visible to one or more specific clients, set this as a **manual** App.  
6. Leave the app set to _Show as embed_ so that the client isn't directed outside of the portal.  
7. Go back to the _App Setup_ page, paste the embed code into the content box, and click _Add_ to be redirected to the app.

To preview the app as a client, click _Portal_ at the bottom of the sidebar and click _Open portal_. Once you're logged in as your test client, you'll be able to view the connected app.

**Note:** Notion only allows _view-only_ embeds.
